Sriranga was established in 2003 with the primary intention of bringing digital technologies to the service of Indian languages. In the field of digital archiving, Sriranga is a pioneer and has made a name for itself in India.
Sriranga first brought out the huge four volume-English-Kannada dictionary of the University of Mysore on a CD using a Kannada LaTeX typesetting tool, which was indigenously developed by its founders.
